what should i start with? bigger injectors? a turbo? i dunno

You missed the joke, there is a 1.8L Golf/Jetta CL model... Thus the 1.8T..urtle (turtles = slow golf 1.8L = slow, you see now)

There is no way any VW could keep up with an integra. They are leet vtec fast fo sho.

Any car can be made fast, but stock I think the Integra takes it.

If you want to make your Jetta faster we'd need know what engine is in it.

If its a TDI/diesel then injectors help.

If its a VR6 you probably want a supercharger.

I am not sure what 4c was available in 96, I think the 2.0L was available with 115hp? If you have this engine then you should probably sell the car and buy a faster one (it will be cheaper than modding).

It also REALLY depends on what kind of Integra, as the base models were quite gutless too (I THINK 110 or so, and 90 something ft/lbs, but i'm not sure, so honda guys don't get mad)

Depends on what year and model. My 1.8T Vs my brothers Integra GSR is pretty much side by side. When he hits 6000rpm he pulls a little on me.

maaan am i a idiot i had another post in another vw site and i forgot to add diesel cause im pretttty dumb. the car is a 96 td.
the integra is a 5 speed 97 integra i dunno much about integras im gunna go with its probly the faster model of the non type-r integra

Instead of Integra's you should set your goal at trying to beating Echo's and Smart's.
