they are supposed to work ok with a D and your phatbox having the latest firmware, more glitchy with a G, maybe that fixes everything?2002 VW Golf GT TDI

Yeah, I've read quite a bit on VWnavi.com that the 'D' version works just fine with a phatbox, and the 'G' version has a few issues. I think this guy just went to the next step to make sure that it worked flawlessly.
