If you haven't gone through ALL the pages of this thread on the Vortex, you should.

Its mostly a mix of waterfest pics and some old pics of some of the best cars.

Anyhow, it will bring back your moding enthusiasm for sure, I guarantee it.

Definitely some original ideas which is always the best thing to see.

paiks GTI is one of my fav GTIs and ron burgandy's GTI used to be that gross 2 tone car is now a sick color with LMs his redo is 100x better

      Re: Breathtaking cars

There are some seriously nice cars in that thread, almost makes me want a MK4, but only if I could have white 2 door golf TDI.

I think Ryan is a few mods away from joining that group, needs to get the interior done up, clean up the front (mesh fmic) and needs a killer set of wheels. Just my opinion

meh, competition....I don't mod for anyone's approval, and certainly not just to be "part of the group" of hot modded cars.....nice cars, but don't try to hard to fit in folks....

Agreed Ryan you can be up at the top of the list with just hardly any more, maybe a fmic, little more engine bay dressup, interior tweaks and finish up this stereo project you're working on!

One thing though if you really want to be noticed is to do something nobody else has done, not sure what that might be, I am kinda hoping to get my engine bay into that state eventually...

            Whoa

I know that's not the nicest car in there but I really like the front.

            This one too, smoked HID's!

                    Re: Breathtaking cars

That Jetta with the smoked HID's is the HOTTEST car ever....so clean...simple...DAAAAAAAAAAMN I love it. Side profile of that car is deadly.

I don't know why that Ron Burgundy dood switched to LM's, the iForged wheels suited his look 100x better IMO.

I'm on page 2, nominated by the Prime Ministah. And don't add yourself Ryan, thats not classy :P. And IMO you need custom work to be in that group of heavy hitters, your trunk is a start, if you shaved the sides or something you'd be there.

                          Re: Breathtaking cars

haha guys thanks.. don't worry this winter i'm having fun.

stereo will be done and properly LOL
alcantara headliner (probably greyish to keep grey handles,etc.. will still look good IMO)
euro recaros (this will actually be in the car in a few weeks) but i'm having them redone 2 tone leather/alcantara

over the cold months when i have the time
mold rear valence, mold front valence.. paint hagus mirrors silver, candy silver entire CF hood, shave doors rubs, possibly full door handles like paiks gti above, fmic should be installed by then i have the core now just no piping...

oh yea.. oem hids up front.. gli tails in the rear

and if my brain allows me or CC lol big turbo kit of somesort
and if somebody purchases my current wheels.. some sort of new rollers.

then no more modding forever LOL
