I've never seen this before... this guy matched the door strip to the sidemarker. It kinda looks like the strip flows through a little into the front rubstrip. I think it looks okay and props for originality. A good DIY mod too.

That does make it look better. I like it, but that could be because i'm used to looking at MK3's with textured moldings all the time.
If you wanted to go really crazy you could make them outta Carbon Fibre like the MK3 ones I posted.Jay
