Well the time has come to have an NVD election to help with the next chapter in the clubs existence. I think we should try and fill 3 official positions this time around to better run this club.
President - The head guy in charge of most things, keeps track of funds, members, the boards and oversees all the events.
Vice President - The second man, helps keep the Pres. on track and assists with duties and is there in case of an assassination.
Events Coordinator - This would be a position that would help organize all the meets, events, shows and stuff like that. This just helps to take the pressure off the Pres and VP with respect to events.
Overall the three would work as a team to keep things rolling well and improve all aspects of the club. I really think the duties would not be that hard but you would obviously have to contribute your time most of all. There would maybe be some extra meetings of just the administration but the three people could work that out, assuming we get three people interested of course.
The outline for the process will be to have nominations first for the positions. I think self nominations are fine unless anyone disagrees. We will have nominations till the 18th of August, that is two weeks. After that we will prepare for the election which we can do in person or online in the members section near the end of the month.
