  • Help with fog lights

I picked up my fog lights from Simon the other day and went to install them last night... well as always I ran into some minor and major problems.

There are a total of 4 bolts between 2 fog lights that I need to get off, and I was able to get 1 that is right just 1 of the 4 off... the other 3 are striped (which could be why the guy before me never changed out his fog lights), any ideas on what to do... I picked up a 1/4" bit last night and was just thinking of drilling the screws out tonight, anyone have a better idea.

On to the wiring of the lights, as always I seem to have more wires then I need. Coming from the car are 3 wires and coming from the new Jom Fogs is 2, any idea of how to wire them up (I am looking at you Brent )

    Well thanks for the help!

Where you have three wires and there are only two on the plug, it's for the turn signals right? European turn signals only use two, I used my original light bulb plug that used three wires and got them to fit into the European signals. But I'm not sure if you can do this since I went from NA Hella turn signals to European smoked Hella turn signals, which were almost identical.

As for the bolts that are striped, I ran into the same problem as you and ended up using a dremmel to cut the nuts off the back of the bolts.

    Hope this helped,
