Anyone know how much it is to buy an OEM changer from a dealership? I've been searching for a good deal on one, and I think I may have to take the hit (and buy new).

Re: CD Changer
I honestly think it is cheaper to go buy a phat noise right now, that is unless dealerships are trying to clear out changers too. Most that I see even used are about $200 which I believe is what most club members paid for a phatnoise.Name: Brent

Re: CD Changer
I was in a similar position as you, but held out and found a great second hand one for 175 bucks.
If you don't mind waiting a bit, I'd see what comes up in the classifieds. Personally, I had to listen to nothing but the radio for 5 months. It was a high price to pay, but in the end, well worth it.2008 Audi RS4

Re: CD Changer
I've looked into the Phat Noise system, and it won't fit into the cubby in the trunk, so you have to re-route wires, and it doesn't look as clean. Also, I can't imagine the navigation when you have 4,000 songs stored and there's a certain one you want to listen to....
But you're saying dealerships have Phat Noise for $200??Last edited by dubs_17; 08-04-2005, 01:09 AM.'02 Jetta 1.8Tuuurbo
