The logo contest is a good idea, but some parameters like size, complexity would have to be figured out beforehand. Also the name would have to be too lol.
Yes we would limit size and number of colors but that is easy to do.

I moved my name rant to the new thread.

the polo shirt idea would be top notch imo. most of us have to work polo shirts to work anyway right. might as well buy a couple with a cool logo and support the club. im down like a clown charlie brown nickerbocker juicy fruit lamp.

So polos seem like a popular idea and would be more practical for lots of us and a little different too. I have set up another thread about the name so keep this one about the shirts please!

Re Shirts: I love the idea of Polo's

Re Club Name: NewVeeDub seems to be sort of a spiteful take off on ClubVeeDub and their air-cooled tendecies.

I would definitely vote in favor of a name/image change provided someone comes up with a decent name.

The name issue definitely has to be resolved before proceeding with shirts. If we decide on a new name, shirts would be a great way of promoting that quickly.

I think his point is that it's not "new" anymore. The MK5's are out.

Personally I never wear polo shirts they just sit in my closet and collect dust I don't need them for work either cause I wear coveralls. I think that a t-shirt would be good and I know that I would wear it more I'm just not a polo shirt guy
I also think that just having something on the front would look better then front and back

If you were to embroider the design it may be easier. After you do the set up it up with the embroidery place the logos you can pretty much put them on any thing that the logo will fit on whether it be polos, T-shirts, jacket, underwear, vests, hats etc.
