  • Anyone Try The New GIAC v.11 Chip?

I hear that it's a great improvement with the N75 smoothing technology that eliminates surging...and it works with the 'H' N75 valve.

Anyone have the opportunity to purchase/test this new chip??

Anyone now where I can get one cheap in Toronto??

    Thanks for all your help.

I'm afraid there is no easy way to get GIAC chips in Calgary or even Edmonton. I am not sure about getting one elsewhere in Canada...

I have heard very excellent things about the so-called 'smoothing' to better control the wastegate valve.

If you guys are looking for software upgrades I can hook you up ! Iam the GIAC dealer in BC

I am NOT doing remote ECU tuning though, sorry not ECU's mailed out ! I want to be sure that they work and dont want the hassle of shipping back and forth if it doesnt.

But if you need new software for your current setup shoot me an email and I can hook you up !

GIAC dealer in BC eh? that's pretty sweet. maybe you'll reconsider mailing out ECU's to NewVeeDub'rs though?

I got GIAC chipped at christmas, and had to get my ECU shipped to Montreal to TRAC Racing. I was without a dub for more than a week because of this. Well worth it, but i'd prefer more local.

Local service is tough to beat... especially with something as "controversial" as chipping.

I wont get into a 'my chip is better than yours" debate but the option to have a local tuner is really advantageous. That is largely why I wont be doing any GIAC for anyone that cant drive to me.

However I will be heading to Seattle for a chip day next Saturday as there is enough interest and a good location available. So if there is enough interest ... Have GIAC will travel !

A man after my own heart, good to see some more tuners around the area.
