Roof rack options

Howdy,

I'm looking for an acceptable substitute for the VW 'Cargo Holder' that is a flat section that you can tie stuff onto. It's here on the vw page:

I already have the base rack, anyone who's aware of options, please speak up...quickly if possible. I've run out of space for the weekend trip...

I would just rig something up with U-bolts and a sheet of plywood.

I would get the VW Rack, they should make a luggage carrier like the old style Beatle wire basket.
