7 or 8. There are some really cool guys there (Duffy, Dale, etc.) that give a damn.
Anybody who's been around long enough knows that it depends on who you talk to.
I've heard my share of horror stories from friends, but honestly I don't have any. They've been good to me
We've got to remember that it's still a business and Ken is out to make money (as we all would be) and all things considered I think it's a well run shop and I'm glad they're our local shop!
C1 is a bunch of idiots.....you drop 4000 in there store and they wont event give a guy 10 bucks off a grill....out of spite to them i would rather buy out of province from AMI MotorSport or Momentum who did cut a guy a deal and i didnt even buy anything there before......i rate them 0 out of ten and i turn people away from them who asked me about them....

what ever! they give CVD 10% off, they could be making alot more if they didnt give us 10%. 10 out of 10. I'm not 100% sure but i though they gave NVD guys a discount to. I've never had a problem with them and i like all of the guys there. Just because they dont give YOU a deal doesnt mean they gave you bad service or you should tell people not to go there.
I've gotten a ton of good information from the guys over there even when I wasn't buying anything. I know they have been very helpful to my brother when he was restoring his '74 914 as well. 8/10.
I would say 8/10, just because of my trial chip fiasco, spent half the day there, and they never got me in.....I was PO'd, cause I was ready to buy a chip, and that was the test drive, right?? Needless to say I bought a chip elsewhere.....everything else has been ok though....
In all fairness I have always been treated very well by the guys up front. Ken, Curtis, Duffy, and Dale were always really good to me. It is their service dept. that I found lacking. Being that everything I ever had installed there was done poorly. I had to go back one or two times for everything that I had installed there.
Well... my situation is a little different, seeing that they don't really do much in the way of Audi..
Ken was helpful trying to help me out, but in the long run I ended up going straight to APR..
They didnt return calls... but I have had that happen with most stores..I dunno, I guess I would give them a 7/10
8/10. The front staff is awesome (curtis and ken), they always cut me a good deal and do what they can to help me out. Ken even offered to give me the customer appreciation day sale price a few days later.
What they lack is their installs and perhaps their dynoing. Have had to go back for a few things and the dyno#'s are all over the place.
I think that everyone is pretty much on the same page with C1. The guys up front are generally really good, and try to help you out as much as possible. It is their service department that really blows.....that doesn't mean that they aren't good guys.

I agree, I have always been treated fairly well by the guys up front. They are all knowledgable and friendly, especially duffy, curtis and dale.
However, the C1 has done for me has been in my opinion not good. As I have posted before I had to go back multiple times on BOTH my exhaust install AND my suspension install. MANY return trips. They should have had it perfect the first time. They also charged me money on my return visits to solve the problems that were basically their fault. Then I had to go to OTHER places to have them finally resolved. I was also fairly unhappy with the way they treated us/me on Dyno day in terms of not getting everyone proper dyno results.
The products they do stock are often inferior quality goods in my opinion. For example, FK lights vs Hella lights. Another example is the problems they had with a certain exhaust they sold. Its not bad to sell a more affordable product however for almost all of their products they seem to bring in only the cheap stuff. This has changed a little bit since I stopped shopping there but is still a problem, and I think they will continue to push cheap goods onto people who have no other place to buy products and who may not know better.
