I know most of you guys have your windows tinted, and I've been wanting to do mine for a while now. I'm polling for digital pics, and or feedback in particular with respect to the dot matrix on the rear windows. I am picky, and really don't want that white line where the film lifts away from the matrix. I know there are several techniques to get around this (glue, sanding the matrix, razor blades, etc) but want to know who in the city has experience specifically with the dot matrix on MK IVs.
If you have close-up pics with or without the white line, let me know. If you remember how much you paid, and where you had it done, that would be a bonus.
In case anyone is interested, I'm thinking 35% for the rear, and 45-50% for the four side windows. The goal is to get the grey tint somewhat close to the paint (Silverstone).
