    Re: mileage update..

I have 46991 for mileage so far on my 03 Golf. I haven't figured out the gas mileage though yet. I just know it costs me around 30- 40 to fill it when I'm on E and depending on gas prices at the pump.

Just turned 160,000 on my '88 Jetta!!

Went to Edmonton for 3 days to visit family (topped off the tank in Calgary), reset the trip meter, and filled up before leaving Edmonton, to return to Calgary--425 km on half a tank!!! It STILL gets great mileage!!!! Woo Hoo!!!

My 89 GTX is just about to turn 165,000 km's. Wow thats been a great car. I filled her 4 days ago, have driven 115km's and it hasn't moved from full! My GTI would be 1/2 empty already!

I get 475/tank max, I dunno how you guys get it up any higher. My cluster keeps track of my average economy and I don't beat 10.7L/100km

I usually get 600-700 a tank with my TDI. Granted its an automatic so that sucks up alot of diesel. Took a trip to Kelowna, BC this weekend and drove 850km before having to fill up though, so at least its not to bad on the highway.. most of my driving is highways anyways.

With my automatic TDI I get 800km on a vented tank in all city driving.

Actually, isn't that 8.14litres per 100 kms? I don't think 12.28 is actually that great.
