Maybe we should just have a mod day and get a bunch of us together, many hands make light work... I wanna figure out how to put in a fuel pump with fuse and relay somewhere.KR

Re: Cluster Install
I hate to tell you this Alex but you are totally screwed on getting the SKC. With the dealers new system the techs don't even see it anymore and it is done all via the internet. The only way to get it is to have someone who knows how/where to get it out of the cluster electronically or scream at VWoA because they have made it so only dealers can do work on the car and I believe that is against some laws (well in the states anyways not sure about here).Name: Brent

Re: Cluster Install
I wnet through the song and dance with 5th ave and they where of no help at all. Then I found out my car has no imobilzer anyways so I should have no problem. There is a site Vagdashcom.com or something that can pull all the codes with some software but I think it is pretty expensive. Let me know what you do becuase I want the skc for the wifes car. Ohh and Bart I think it is only immo3 (2002+) that have the VIN number in the cluster so that doesn't help adaptation of a new cluster much.Name: Brent

Re: Cluster Install
OK, I'd like to do it in the next week if possible.....we'll try it, and if not, I have to get my recall done anyhow, and I'm sure its no more than 1 hour of labour to put the cluster in with the stealership.....right?2006 Colorado Xtreme | AEM CAI | Walker exhaust | smoked glass | -1" dropped rear | Avic D3 | 8000K HID's
