so are you thinking i should run 8.5's in the back and 7's in the front, i don't mind the staggerd set up i think its pretty sweet. the only problem is i don't know if i can find those rims in a 7 inch. yea kris i think i'll go with 25, adapters in the rear and if its not wide enouch i can always throw on spacers later. WOW this adds up fast!!
the ones in the pic probably aren't the ones for sale, but they are staggerd, in case anyone cared

Well 7's might be pretty thin for a Mk4 I would not go thinner than a 7.5" wheel.
What we're basically telling you is that if you don't want your wheels to poke outside of the fenders, you need narrower wheels in the front. If you do want your wheels to poke out a bit from the fenders, you need wider wheels in the back or huge spacers so that it matches.
