Stolen! 337 in Saskatoon

July 19th - Stolen!!!
Attention local residents!
One of only a handful of local '03 VW GTI 337 editions was stolen sometimes last night from the downtown area. It has 18inch wheels, rear tinted windows, Alberta license plate, and a Concept1 license plate frame. If you see this car please contact please contact us or the Saskatoon Police @ 975-8300 ASAP.



I believe it was also chipped, and has an ABD big bore intake.

Please keep your eye out. You never know where this car may end up.

DAMN! I've seen this car alot during the school year in Saskatoon, I'm sure it will turn up...hopefully still in good condition :(

I saw it!!! Nope... wait.. I think it was one of the 5 floating around calgary...
What I'm trying to say is that is there any distinguishing marks or anything that sets this apart from any other 337? It might be useful rather than chasing every silver 337 or AE looking for the right one. It's probably in Botswana by now anyways.

Plate # is alberta tkn 761

I believe it had coilovers too.

It was found last night. Looks like someone took it for a joyride, but from what I gather, it was left relatively unharmed.

How did they steal it? I thought MK4's had immobilizers? Or did they steal the keys first?

My old 337 was stolen a week after the new owner got it because he left the valet key in the glovebox

I think they broke in thru the d. side window, and grabbed a spare key from inside. There was a bunch of extra clothing left in the car, a saskpower bill w/ address, cd's, $10, and a new and better CD player installed (WTF?) - which for a minute I thought was mine since they're both sony flip down, but oh well.

One of the lower boost tubes popped off too, so hopefully it happened early, and the car wasn't bagged too much. It was driven for about 350km and was found outside a house by a 306 club member who was delivering pizza's.

Glad you got your car back, but that sh1t is messed up!
