Happy Stampede you truck driving farm working yokel Version 2
At around 5:00 on Friday, my beloved, most dearly reliable 96 B4 TDI Passat Wagon got hit badly head-on today by a Ford F-350 Super Duty. I got hit on the front passenger side wheel. My neck is still in great pain, as well as the chest area swollen. My head feels weird.
The accident was at McCloud Trial by Enmax power station at 50AV S. When the light turn green he was rolling downhill signaled to the northbound side traffic while I was doing the same to the southbound, but he changed his mind then pulled back to the straight middle lane then hit me head-on. There were three cars in front of me turning to the same direction, so I was like doing at a very slow speed. My wagon got push off from the truck on the side. Even the driver side of the wheels also curbed to the ground. I felt whole car was bounced up to the air. His F-350 bumper was only tiny bend backward then his truck’s horn went off. The truck stall on the road, his engine won’t turnover.
The truck headlight was like riding in front of my face. It was very scary. I appreciated the help from EMS on treated me of the process. Tickets were not issues on both sides, the police cannot decide about the situation. The other driver barely speaks any English. The information I found out after was that the truck was a rental property from the near by Budget Car Rental shop on McCloud Trial. My guess was that at the moment he saw the shop he pulled his truck back to the middle lane without noticing the traffic.
My mechanic checked the car from the outside then it doesn’t look good. The only thing I can tell was the whole dashboard moved. Tranny fluid + coolant were leaked out. Probably is going to be right-off.
