So how much would it cost roughly to get a new door? Including painting it (and would the color even match the rest of the body?). Some ass decided to hit my car without so much as a note, the door suffered the worst damage, the handle is almost stripped of paint, as well as part of the rub strip. There is a small dent as well, also the part right below the door has a big scrap and dent in it, how much does something like that cost to fix? I'll try and get some pictures if I can later.

Your telling me. Same thing happened to my other car (conviently it was practicly the same car except a base model and gas engine, even the same color). I think I just have bad luck with this color car.. my next car needs to be something bright yellow so people dont' miss it.

Ok from my last accident I can give you some ruff prices.
Door: Used and stripped (ie no glass, motor, trim) $500
Painting: Paint itself about $300 (guess)
Fitting and swapping glass etc: $200

So in otherwards a really crappy deal and might be worth making an accident claim.
On another note make sure to file a hit and run report as someone may have saw it happen and reported it to the police. By the sounds of it they will be able to pull the door dent and the dent in the frame. Big $$ though as the bottom will need to be re-rockguarged and a couple hours of body work.

Thanks for the advice. Money is tight unfortunatly, is it something that can be left and not have to many ill-effects? Or will the problem grow worse with time?
