Any updates on our cars, Derek?

Just wondering if the ETA still remains unchanged at May 23rd, and 25th for our cars? Also, if there is any other new info, let's hear it! My excitement is getting to be out of control.. already my friends are sick of me constantly talking about how May 23rd can't come soon enough.

Oh yeah, the deal that I had arranged for selling my car fell through, so now I am once again trying to find a buyer. If you come across any folks looking for a 2001 VW, could you let them know about my car? I've already posted it up for sale on a bunch of boards and on megawheels but so far haven't had many bites.

Hey Chris, I just checked again this morning and as of yet nothing has changed. I did find out however that the ship it is on (pacific runner) should be arriving in houston on the 23rd of this month. Then time will tell. The problem with the 337 delay is that they spent a great deal of time in port in Houston for some reason. If everything goes smoothly, the cars should only spend like 4-7 days there before they are rail loaded and destined for Calgary! Lets keep our fingers crossed!

Also, If I hear of anyone looking for your car I will pass them on to you! What are you going to do if you don't have your car sold when the new one comes in?

If I don't have my car sold by the time the 20AE comes in, then I guess I will be the proud owner of two Volkswagens

Hopefully it won't come to that though. I'm going to take an ad out in the Herald next week so we'll see if that'll help.

The waiting Game sucks, believe me, when I had to park my pride and joy back in february for serious repares its been a LONG ASS WAIT, but tomorrow my car will be out tormenting the streets, with a big happy white guy in emerald iridium oakleys piloting the beast!

I went to the shop after work and low and behold, cars DONE!!!

I pick up tomorrow, just gotta throw some tranny fluid in her and were SET!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna live in that thing fo like a month

Whos up for cruising on friday, I gotta break in the new tranny.
