Even if there was a 7 year warranty on the MAF's I dont think they will honor it with my stage 3 kit... I'll call and ask, but somehow I think my warranty was voided long ago.. very long ago. I found a new MAF for $72 cdn.. so maybe thats the best option right now. I was thinking of cleaning it, but if I have to spend 30 on the torx set, then about 10 on the alcohol, it may just be better to grab the new MAF for $30 more...
I have the torque bits and the alcohol....

Damn Brent.. read this a little late.. I went and bought a new MAF...Im pretty sure from my VAG #'s it was on its way out anyways... I guess i will know for sure after today..and if not I will have a new MAF to sell!
Ah well it was only $70....

I swapped it out today.. so far it looks like I fixed my problem.. There was some Oil on the old MAf...so Im guessing a regular cleaning could have helped!
