We want tough reliable car that could take punishment in all kinds of racing. I think stock hp (maybe chipped) with shorter gearing and very aggressive clutch type differential will do the trick. We will go very aggressive on shell itself, anything from cutting chunks of sheetmetal to lexan windows and composites body panels
If you build powerful engine then you would need to look at racing gear set, some serious driveshafts, big brake kit and tire dealer for your best friend.
I know that stock motors brake driveshafts and strip gears in tranny under heavy load. This motor its not going there for bling bling.
