1.8 Turbo into MK II Golf officaly started

So with about 6 weeks delayed we had a chance to begin work on 1.8T swap.
First we have to strip this poor GTI from anything we will need.

We need help to pull it inside the garage, Jeep with winch did all the work



Like we didnt have enough stuff before, we count 5 motors 4 trannys now laying around

Motor an tranny out

Now the easy part wiring

Dash out

Mmmmmm to only have the tools you have in my garage There is a red mk2 down the street from my place that has a front mount intercooler, I will have to check out what it has under the hood. I think ABD has some mounts now made for 1.8t swaps that are suppost to make it alot easier to do.

We have plans for another MK II onec the first one is done and MK III in winter
