  • 1.8T Tiptronic Slow off the line

Throughout all my gears I have great pull and power but in my first gear it just takes a little while to get the turbo spooled. What should I modify to increase my low end speed?

Perhaps you can work on your launch so you can avoid that under 1,900rpm non-turbo area. Can you keep it in neutral and rev it up a bit then shift to first?

This is false information that will caused to blowup the torque converter and linkage.

This is the nature of auto trans. If you want to modify the Tip trans performance then the only way to do is to change the TCM(Tip chip). This is just like how you got the Up chip installed.

Hey I am sorry I have not much experience with Tips so I was just offering a suggestion but I would say it would not be good for the car to do it, but just trying to figure out the best way for you to launch:thumbsup:
