okay well no friggin muffler shop in the NW could even get me in today!!! so i said frig it i'll look at it myself i guess.. i jacked the back end up and the god damn exhaust broke at the resonator!!
i'm thinking i may have them just cut the thing out and put a piece of pipe in it's place but that will probably make my car so god damn loud its not funny although its so damn loud now since nothing is coming out the muffler

sigh.. i think i may just buy a new exhaust.. anybody want a 2.5" brullen catback for like 300 bucks???

I was under the impression that Brullen systems had a lifetime warranty, I could be wrong though.

Ryan, maybe you can just get a new performance muffler welded in? After all pipe is pipe. The Techtonics uses a standard Borla muffler... You can also get Magnaflows etc. It would be really cheap... probably flow better and sound good too...

hey kris its just the mid muffler piece not the actual real muffler but for now i'll have them just cut the stupid piece out and weld in a straight 2.5" pipe to replace it.. if it's too loud i'll buy a 3" TB system and t'hell with it all

Brullen DID have a good warranty but I believe they are out of biz now so, lifetime warranty means jack hah

yea i think i will mike i'm trying to keep my stage3 funds up right now but i will need a 3" TB for that but for now i'll have them straight pipe the lame spot and if it's ricer loud i'll sell it and buy a APR exhaust

bah!!! what a POS.. they put on a straight pipe i was expecting it to be louder.. its friggin quieter!! that POS resonator must have been cracked/leaking for like over a year!! my car seems stock now LOL.. very sleeperish hahahaha

i dunno mike you could tell simply by jacking up the rear driver side and peaking to the middle (i assume the 1.8T and vr6 paths are the same)

at least i don't have to shell out 1400 bones for a new system until this winter now

It's been over a year and I'm still happy with my magnaflow exhaust - other than a gasket that blew which C1 replaced for free.
