Hey - I have a buddy runnin' an '01 Jetta 1.8T, and I know it's pushin' the 150hp...what kind of simple things should I suggest to him to get him up (or past) the 180hp of an '02? Thanks!

I've had upsolute for 3 years now, zero problems. It's by far the cheapest, and power-wise it's right up there with the rest of 'em...1.8T

APR is nice to switch between different octane programs, as well as the vtune options, but it costs almost if not twice as much as the upsolute.

I believe it's rated for 205-ish hp and 230-ish ft-lbs (at the crank). The chip is under $500 (well, it used to be anyway!)1.8T
