Does anyone else have this problem with their black door handles peeling?

My Passenger door handle the black ones are peeling, the car is Freaking 2 years old?

Oh well it goes back to a VW Dealership or should I say Stealership after dealing with the one on the south side of Edmonton Yesterday for a Vehicle Inspection Which cost me for out of province $168.00 Smackers.

They Charged me $4.08 for Windshield Washer Fluid, I was like WHAT?

Now I'll try the North side one which is suppose to be better I hope for Sealtbelt not adjusting properly drivers side, Rear Headrest is stuck and won't move, now peeling door handles.

its the black paint that peels.. take it to a dealer tell them its bunk and they should replace them on warranty most do anyways.

      Thanks Ryan!

BTW I have short Nails and don't wear any rings because of my job. So I have No idea why it is doing this. Let me tell I have 18 pages of Warranty work sheets on this car from Three Dealerships now by the time my Warranty wears out at this rate they will have rebuilt my VW GOLF GLS model from the ground up.

mine just started doing the same thing. It seems to be on the joint on the door handle itself and just seems to be peeling away from the edge only..

My tan door handle on the driver side started peeling about a year ago and the dealership replaced it under warranty without a hassle. I was shocked. I guess it all depends on the day and who you are dealing with. Good luck with the claim.

Was it hard to do paint your handles? Was the kit expensive?

I found the black trim around the inside handles to be really soft and easy to damage. So like Ryan said, keep rings, nails and keys away.
