That's cool, only problem is NICE Mk3's are still so expensive, you're probably almost better keeping yours. Unless you're going to go 2.0 route as they can be had for substantially less than VR6 cars.

Since you have so much autobody experience why not a sweet paint job to the MK4? and some custom stuff?

- fix rear bumper
- upsolute
- side skirts/rear valance

-get my car out of the bodyshop
-work alot to make money
-pay the bill for the bodyshop
-if i have anything left over, some projectors w/ hids (not oem)
-re-fabric the door cards

pretty mild since ive already done the hard stuff. next year or over winter maybe some new seats.

Still, the $450 +$250 for gas and $100 for insurance a month, I can buy out a nice $10G mk3, cut my costs in half, still have a bangin car.....maybe I'll just buy a honda....hehe....

Well I probably still have a month or so till the arrival of the Smart, and I would still like to do chip, wheels, and some alcantara interior work, but I guess time will tell

But pending a summer bonus

I need to Paint and install the Hofele, trunk and roof spoilers collecting dust in the garage,

New wheels/rubber show up this week

and I would really like to finish off my exhaust

Hmm... I already did most of the stuff I planned on doing this year. I don't think my wife would like it if I spent much more money on it this summer

SPS unit.... done
2.5" GHL downpipe.... done
4-bar FPR.... done
Revo Stage 2.... done
Sub+Amp.... done

The only other thing I wanted to do this year was get the BBS centers for my wheels. More to come next year though

This is going to be a mod free year Spent all my money on a place to live and getting hitched in December.

Blair, you should go all out on the mini. But from what I've seen, nothing makes the smart look better than deep, deep dish rims.

Well I am hoping to make that work but not that cheap as they have to come across the pond and need some new fenders too
