to a Jetta V 2.0T 6 spd manual, luxury pkg and xenon. 1 question i have is the potential of the car, is the 2.5 have more engine upgrade potential or the 2.0T??

also, should i choose shadow blue or black magic??

    lastly, black or beige interior?

Go turbo as I am sure more will come out for that engine then anything when the GTI comes out. Get the blue with black interior.
Atleast that is what I would do.

ok. i am trying to get an idea of how the shadow blue looks like compare to black. i saw the black in 5th ave and i am impress with it, however my current jetta is blue and i love it too...

so you guys have any idea what 17inch rims are included with the 2.0T luxury pkg? for 2305 dollars you have a sunroof, 17inch rims/tires and sport suspension... thats a pretty good deal isn't it?

well the 2.0ts aren't out for a while so you have tons of time to wait lol.. unless they are coming sooner than next year.

I don't think the 2.0t will be seen until next year as Ryan says.

The 2.5 is definitely tunable but nowhere near as easy as the 2.0t.

I thought 2.0Ts would be here in about 4-6 weeks, it is just Golfs & GTIs that they are dragging their feet on, you could always go test drive an Audi A3 as they have 2.0Ts on the lot

Is it DSG or manual? I asked at the dealership last time i was in, but the sales guy couldn't give me a straight answer.

I am pretty sure that Blair is right about the delivery time on the new 2.0T. My rediculous sales guy from when I bought my car phoned me about a week ago asking if I wanted to sell my car back to them and get the new turbo. He fed me a bunch of bs about how much better the car as a whole would be , but in the end I couldn't justify sinking money into mods for the GLI just to trade it in. Maybe I'll change my mind when the new GLI comes out though! Only if I get OEM LEATHER Recaro's this time!

Where's the sales guys when you NEED them, perhaps we scared them away with our Jetta rants in the other thread

haha the 2.5 is weak man ... honnestly 2 guys from my work raced twice, a 2.0 vs a 2.5 (2.0 as in the 8V) and both times the 2.0 won so i would wait for the 2.0T in the golf..

Re: i need support! my mind has been set

the manual is manual, dsg is dsg

i tried the 2.0T in manual and dsg in a audi A3, the FSI engine itself is quite impressive! (i will take it!). i do agree now that the FSI are much much better than the 2.5

so i am going to put my deposit onto the jetta 2.0T this week. do you guys know what kind of a deal i should be able to get (discountwise?)

the car itself is 27700 and with options are about 31-32k. i am doing the financing and a trade in plus cash down, total about 10000-11000 bucks...

any info will be greatly appreciated
