What do you guys with cup kits do in the winter? How does the ride height affect your driving in snow, etc . .. Basically, I really want to beef up my suspension, but I have to drive for work, so it has to be functional all year round.

Coil overs are an option, but they're pricey and i know from others who i've spoken with that they suck in the winter time. But what if I only adjusted ride height in the spring and fall? I dunno . . . the more i read the farther from any kind of decision I am.

you'll be fine with a cup kit in the winter. You'll forget it's even on there. If your going to piss around with rasing a lowering coilovers make sure you clean them a lot during the winter.

Piss around . . . good description because that's exactly what it'd be after a the novelty wore off.

I would go with a cupkit. Do yourself a favour and skip the coilovers.

I agree. The cup kit is the way to go. I bet Simon will give you a smokin deal too. I'd rather see the biz go to him than C1.

So whats the deal with these cup kits, how/where do they mount/install and does it lower front and rear? How much does it lower it? I was just gonna throw in some springs but everyone talks about these cup kits.

                  Re: Cup kits

it replaces the entire suspension (shocks, struts, and springs) if you just add springs to a stock car the shocks, struts will start getting really bumpy and will die within 6-a year so your replace it all at once.
