I'm thinking about selling my car. Most of you guys know the car..Its a 01 Jetta 1.8T t3t4 turbo. The car has lots of time and money in it. I wont part the car.. sorry. I bought the car 4 years ago and it has 135km on it now. I will only sell the car to a good home. taking offers

23? Good luck...I'm not trying to be an ass, but you'd really have to sell it to an "enthusiast" to get that much for a modified car. If you don't mind waiting, then no problem!

If you want to sell the car reasonably quickly, I'd part it out. You can make money off the parts, plus you can still get a decent price for the car.

Time and parts mean jack to the car lot. Age and KM are all that matter. They have a book price and that is what it is worth. Adding time and parts is for your enjoyment only. Even if you trade it in, if it has been lowered it will probably go to an auction. I have been down this road before. Build it, enjoy it & part it. Up grading your car is not like up grading a house. Well it is kind of like up grading a house in a bad neighbourhood.

I also think that you would definately be better off parting the car out. If you try and sell it "as is", you would not recover even half of the parts' value. But, if you part it out, you could easily trim your losses. And I am not just saying that because I wouldn't mind a BT in my GLI . Just my two cents, but what do I know!

I been really thinking about this hard in the last few weeks and I think I need to sell my car I will sell the car for 18500 no lower and shes all yours, this is a very big lost to me but I need to get a few things in order..
