Many Questions to answer re the 06 Jetta TDI

    1) Ordered it the end of March, arrived at the dealer on Thursday, picked it up last night.

    2) Heard about the site via the dealership buisiness office.

    3) Pretty sure it is the same 1.9L as last year, just new body style etc, etc.

    4) Automatic transmission as my wife wants to drive it too.

All the options that are available are on the car, platinum grey paint.

Totally off topic but it always cracks me up that even though right above Brents post it says " Cheers, Derek", Brent spelled my name Dereck. Not picking on you buddy because no one seems to be able to spell my name!!! I wonder what would have happened if I had my brothers name....Rutger!!!

                  Re: Newby to the forum

I'm sure it would be an mk5. The dealer i work for got a bunch of tdi's in last week both auto and 5spd. (the 5spd shifter is ugly). The engine is still a 1.9, the cover is different, fuel filter etc to fit in the new body style. One thing we noticed is the tdi badging on all of them was waaaayyyyy crooked. The little mexican sticking them on must have drunk or somthing.
