Newby to the forum

Good day all,

Just picked up my 06 Jetta TDI last night. Gotta say I like it already. I've been driving a truck for the last ten years so being back in a car again is going to take some getting used to.

I look forward to learning a ton from this site. What I have read so far is looking good.

Its not AFAIK - I thought they only had the mkv's in the 2.5 still?

Welcome to the boards!! You should bring out the Jetta to the next meet so we can all check it out and you could be famous with the first 2006!! Is it a manual? You should look at chips!!

hope you got the DSG! still 100hp though... i hear DSG has a certain torque limit, like around 250ish, then it goes kaput, be careful!

What about the 3.2 TT? It must have close to that no?

Torque is 236ft/lbs in a TT 3.2 but so yes you have to be very careful about doing any mods to it.

Ya, speaking of that, you guys have cards or something? I had to give away both my stickers before I could put them on anything because people have been questioning me like crazy since it got nice out!
