      Re: Rocky Mountain Rally

Ok we almost did it, with one stage to go we DNF, but still happy that we got so far without any major problems and at least when we DNF it wasn't because we put the car into the trees like few other teams. There was a few bad roll of cliffs - one driver was MEDVAC by STARS to hospital, on two others were taken by car for check up.

On stage 13 we lost rear wheel ( bearing came a part ) at 90 km/h spun around and came to the stop in a ditch (not a scratch on the car). We were able to drive the car on three wheels to nearest trail to park it off the road.
The lucky part is that just moments before we were going 150km/h with trees on one side and exposure on the other side of the road.
Looking on the results from SS12 (last stage we finished) we were in 17 out of 25 cars still running in regional part of the rally. I consider this as a good performance from novice team first time on the road with no previous rally experience.

It was great event, nice weather, fast roads , lots of fun

Nice work, and glad you and the car were fine. Do know how the Bullit Racing golf did? I've met that guy a couple times and am just curious.

Colin did very well - but then again he drove the roads before
          I did his paintjob too.
