    Alright,

So I'd like to get rid of my DRLs and I need some advice. Well, not get rid of per se, but change them from the main headlamp bulb to the signal lights or something like that. Can I just tap the DRL wire and run it to the signals instead of the main lamps or will the current be too much load for the bulb? What options does a euro switch give me? Is it plug and play or will I need to spend half a day on my back whoring myself to the German wiring/relay gods?

Not sure about your first question, but the euroswitch itself is about a 2 minute job.

Nope, you pull out the old switch, unplug it, plug the harness into the new one and away you go, even a car idiot like me can do it.
