Not bad, I like the Jetta's in a dark colour but really needs that drop and probably a turbo under the hood too

I never thought I would say this.....but those are ugly BBS's! But maybe it's just the combo of the car and the wheels.

From what I've seen, I think the MK5's will look best with a "full" wheel (like supermeshes, RC's, etc.)

Well my favorite new wheel is this gem and I think it would work on a MK5 maybe even a white slammed GTI

Yea, def needs a full wheel like that, I think the body of the mk5 is kind of "thick" (?? I don't know how to explain it) a minimalist wheel on it looks kinda silly.

yes, if you want to keep those wheels, find brakes to fill them!!!

                    Haha

Oh and Blair, those wheels look like an evil evolution of Ronal Turbos

I think the MK5 is going to need some real thought to make them look good. Maybe you could put a set of BBS's on a MK3 or MK4 and that would solve all your problems, but not the MK5.

Very true, so would RC's. I guess I just meant you could put just about any BBS wheel on a MK3 and it would make the car look way better but that will be harder to do with the MK5.

I must say that the car is much more apealing in person.. i was quite iffy about it at first... but after working all day with it not more then 15 feet from me.. it kinda grew on me.. cant wait for the shocks

Well they are Carlsson 1/12 Ultra Lights, very hot, very light and very pricey infact $8,000 US for a staggered 19" set.
