Well it would be more work but do-able, I think you would need a lot more custom stuff or TT parts but it would fit!

I'm looking at getting the entire drivetrain, brakes, engine, tranny, axles etc. I'm still researching, but it could be fun

I'm currently exploring options, I might be buying a used 20th instead, but we will see how things progress.

I was at an auction last year and saw a complete 1.8t (AWD I think) go for $2800 and change. The engine was complete as far as i know with average kilometres and the buyer had to take it out. There was also a VR6 there (the newer one), but it went for more than $4000 (lots of bidders). Just a thought . . .
