Well, I think the new design Bill did looks superb. Very clear, simple, and classy. The color choices you guys made on the last batch seemed OK to me.
One thing I'd like to see (which i'm sure won't happen) is maybe a set of stickers that still has the dot com on the end. I ended up garbaging the newer style NVD stickers on my rear windows, and replaced them with Oettinger ones instead. Frankly, I got sick of explaining the name to people who insisted, or thought, that my car was a "new vee dub". It was annoying in Calgary, and it's down right frustrating here in Cali. I still kept the old style NVD sticker with the dot com on the front of the car though becasue that doesn't create confusion.
I would agree, The way I found out about this website was through the logo's on the cars.
Yeah, I missed the old .com off my first set of stickers.....I think it made the sticker identify the club, rather than just a short phrase....
Man, I threw that out there thinking I'd be alone on this one LOL. Before I scrapped the "new" NVD stickers off my car I was digging around hoping to find some of the old club stickers. That way, I could use the dot com off the end of those for the new ones. No luck though.... So now 2 of the 3 club stickers on my car are tossed and i'm repping 66% less LOL
LOL I rocked the old ones till WOW when I changed to keep the look all the same.. the reason I kept them, .com. Noone listened to me when we changed that I liked the .com better but I must say the font and colout of the new ones is really nice!

Yeah I agree that the .com versions drove quite a bit of traffic to the website, which is a good thing. I'm totally fine with the .com versions. It we want to do some, I can make them ASAP.
As for the colour choices, I would prefer (from a design perspective) to keep the COLOUR1-COLOUR2-COLOUR1 design. I think it's clean and it works... and from a cost perspective, a 2 colour job is cheaper than a 3 colour job. As for the white outline ideas, I think those could look good, but there would be an additional printing costs because of all the diecuts that would be required to cut them out (i would imagine). I also think they would tear easy. All of the decals have no background and look much better without it.
Just my $0.02.
PS: I should also say that I think COLOUR2 in the logo should almost always be white.

Agreed on all points. Also, how about a frosted or etched glass version for those who want a more subtly look?
I've got to say I think the current ones look pretty hot. I saw Billip's car yesterday with the sticker in the window, and suddenly rethought my own decision not to put one on my car. (Don't worry, I'll wait until it's not stock. )
When you say they need to be made asap, do we have time to see some of the possible colour combinations at the next meet?
