okay, my car makes a *ching-ching* sound when i go over a bump...what do you think it could be???...also my clutch/tranny seems to have a unpleasant sound to it but i've been told it is fine.

I have had this issue with both my Golf & my jetta. From what I have been told is that it is a rock which has made its way into the braking system somewhere.
Eventually it goes away when the rock falls out.
It is embarasing but from what I have been told it it harmless.
