I have a question how hard is it to remove the mirrors (drivers and passengers) want to get them painted and can save the labour if I remove them myself. thanks

its not terribly difficult
you have to remove the inside door panels.. and the tweeter.. search vortex for like 'door panel removal' and it should show you how.. or search for 'mirror install' and that will have it too -

If you are just removing the shell you don't have to pull the whole mirror off. Push the mirror inwards and then pull the mirror off. Look on the bottom and remove the 2 screws holding the bottom (mine where rusted out and needed to be drilled). Then you will see a metal band with a hole in it, pry it up with a flat screwdriver and the cover will come off.Name: Brent
