I know this isn't VW related, but thought I'd share anyway - I had the E500 last night (dad had a few too many glasses of wine and was in a jovial mood) and had some fun with an E46 M3 westbound on 17th, then onto Crowchild. It was a red M3 with what I think were 19's and tinted windows. We were both stopped at the lights next to the children's hospital on 17th, the light turned green and we both sorta lazily rolled away, but then we began to slightly speed up until half a second later, we were both hoofin' it.
The thing that amazed me was that I was staying ahead of the M3 after a rolling start!! Even once on Crowchild, he was in my rearview before I hit 160, ran out of guts and backed off. Perhaps he wasn't pushing it, or was driving at 8/10ths, but I couldn't beleive my dad's obese luxobarge outpulled the M3.
Let's hope for my sake that my dad doesn't come on here and read these boards.2008 Audi RS4

haha sorry Blair - I didn't know I was getting it. My sister and her boyfriend got back from Ireland on Saturday and we were having a belated Christmas dinner for them yesterday. Seeing as everyone but me was in a poor state for driving, I was nominated to drive them home.
I jokingly remarked "only if I get dad's car" and was shocked to hear the ol' man say "Oh-right, s'long as you don't ding it, or I'll ding you!" He also stressed that I was to return home immediately after dropping them off and not to "dilly dally like a ponce."
It was also sorta late, so I didn't know if you'd be up still. No worries though, as soon as my car goes in to get repaired (I wonder when that is going ot be by the way...) I'll get it again and we'll go for a cruise.2008 Audi RS4
