  • taking off the mud flaps

I'll be taking off the mud flaps tomorrow, due to the streets being clean and the fact that they are fugly. Now i read somewhere that I have to remove my rear tires, to get the ones on the back off. is this true? and if so what do I tourqe the wheel bolts to when putting the rims back on, 90 ft-lbs? TIA

Re: taking off the mud flaps

I took mine off tonight since i had the rears wheels off. But i think you should be able to fit a small stubby phillips in depending what wheels you have on there right now. I could have done mine with the stock rims on im pretty sure.

you can get to the little torx with a screw driver or buy a set of torx that are like allan keys in an L shape they are very handy for working on our cars
