My new Toy. (without pictures for a day or two)

Hey all,

Haven't posted for a while, but tomorrow I'll throw up pictures of my new toy.

1997 Kawasaki Ninja ZX900R. It's bright red and mint shape. Paid under 5k for it and insurance was - get this - 305 bucks a year for PL/PD and fire/theft/vandalism.

I'll post pics when I get the cam working again. MIght swing it by a meet too...

actually i'd love to own one too but i think i'd kill myself on one not to mention i'm a little scarred of going 200km/hr without a shell around me

Definately great fun, and the cheapest speed most people will ever own. I don't ride as much as I'd like, but when you get the chance, go for it.

my brother used to drive a CBR 900 cc damn it was fast, i never drove it but we hit speeds of 180, and being the passenger i wasn't scared, it didn't seem like we were going that fast. the scary thing is how fast you can reach that speed!! i'm suprised i didn't fly off.

200km? What about 300+, after a while it all melts together. Oh and it was on the track, of course.

I've been riding it for over a week now and it's something like this -- power wheelies (no clutching or anything, just pure throttle) at 8000 RPM in second gear (125km or so).

In fourth gear, at 110, it'll accelerate like my Jetta did in first gear. It's sick.

Stoopid fast. Sorry I didnt make it to the meet, I'll keep in mind for the next one.. or I'll bring the wabbit....

Where are u getting insurance for 350 mine like 1200.
