Will anything remove rust/corrosion?

My P.O.S. FK mesh grill is rusting after only a few months, but because the body shop never gave me the receipt after Concept 1 sent it to them (following my accident last year), I can't return it. I'm fairly pissed. Is there any magical cream that will remove surface-level corrosion? I don't know how deep it goes. I wish I had just bought a Kamei again.
