I agree with Simon, it is a defining characteristic, be careful choosing 'cause if you don't like them you'll likely not get your money back out of them even if you flip them. Rims and tires aren't that easy to sell unless you plan to lose a lot. there's things to consider too like how low you're gonna go, what else you plan to do to the car.
For example, a wheel "like" that motegi (i'm not a big fan of that actual wheel) might look good on your car but it depends what else you want to do, if you're going for sort of a "Race inspired" style they might look good. But if you try and put classic styling on your car (or slam it like Blair did) they won't fit quite right. I'm glad I didn't have a lot of money when I intitially bought my car as it gave me some time to research and think about what I wanted to do and even though I jumped on a couple impulse buys, it actually tied together fairly well. Because you have a "top model" car, I think a cheap wheel might take away from it though.
Well on the wheel note, Mine will be on in less than 3 weeks!! so much for stretch though they didn't stretch at all on those rims, The sidewall was way too stiff.
Good luck though, Russell you planning on coming to the mini meet tomorrow?
