Re: Help Me!!!!!
get something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW i know these fit for sure.. 48 is pretty high for those you'd need like 15mm spacers for sure
checking ADRs site shows they probably will fit our cars but 17s are kinda small i'd try for 18s or 19s if you want bling.Last edited by R_Ethug; 04-11-2005, 08:51 PM.

Re: Help Me!!!!!
The simple fact is that dealing with fitments that aren't ideal is ultimately a huge pain in the ass. You really don't want to use spacers unless you find some amazing Porsche wheel or something that you'd like to mount. Go with a 32-35mm offset and an 8" wide wheel and you'll be happy. Also, make sure you can source hub rings -- preferably from the same manufacturer as the wheel -- that will match the wheel to a Mk IV hub.Yuval

I agree, but if you DO find some unique wheel, its totally worth it
Being the only guy that has that wheel on your car would be just awesomeKR

An offset of 48 would probably fit with (like Ryan said) a 15mil spacer depending on how wide the entire wheel is. The only bad part is that if you're looking to get some wheels for fairly cheap that'll go right out the window with having to add spacers. I think a pair of 15mil will run you about 85 bucks or so plus you'll need all new lugs because they need to be longer so you're looking at at LEAST another 10 bucks a wheel for bolts.
I agree with what was said though, if you find a wheel that you really like and you wanna make it fit it can be rewarding but it'll take more effort than going home and bolting them on (which is why mine currently take up space in my basement).Jay

Re: Help Me!!!!!
I think as you get older and mod more cars or go through a couple of evolutions you begin to like the challenge of a different look. So getting unique wheels or something is cool but not cheap or easy (my next wheels will require totally different fenders to fit) but can be super cool. I would just keep your eyes out for things you like in your price range and work for that. I think 30-35 is the best offset range otherwise they will be sunk in too much and even a 20 offset can work on the back. Good luck with the search!Blair
