  • ABD Rear sway installed

Well after having it sit in my basement all winter, I finally got off my ass and went to C-1 to get it installed. I would have done it myself, but what can I say....I'm lazy! It was only $70 so no biggie. All I can say about it is "Why didn't I do this sooner!" Awesome mod. Since I am planning to move to Edmonton I will not be lowering. The roads there just suck and they don't plow in the winter. This is a great mod to the suspension if you don't plan on lowering the car.

Congrats Thorin. I was thinking of doing the same mod sooner or later, when I have $$$

    off-topic... hows the golf-game going?

      Colin,
At C-1, in the bargain bin, they have an older solid rear sway bar for $200. I have the hollow 28mm one.

Golf game is going pretty good. I still love the clubs I bought from you. Really helped my game from my last set of clubs. How are your new clubs?

My new clubs aren't bad... although I do find them to be a little inconsistant at times. In all fairness I havn't golfed all that much lately. I went Virtual Golfing two weeks ago, but other than that, I havn't touched them since last year.

As for the bargain-bin sway-bar, is the solid one alot heavier than your hollow-one? I just don't want to strap a piece of lead on the bottom

When are you moving to edmonton?

        Colin.

Ya finally got it installed eh?! it is a great mod and well worth it. The handling differences are quite noticeable. I bet if you got lowered just a bit with some nice shocks you would be fine in Deadmonton there. [HAHA]
I own a luxury econobox..is that an oxymoron?

Hey guys ease up on Edmonton here. I have my car lowered 1.5" and I have never bottomed out here in edmonton. Your roads in Calgary are nothing to right home about. I come down there every second week for work and damn there are some nasty roads. I think every city has their bad ones but you learn where you can go fast and where you can't. just my 2 cents.

I'm not saying the roads in Calgary are any better. The fact that both cities have terrible roads have kept me from lowering my car. Especially with our aluminum oil pans. I will ride 4x4 style unless I move to a city with better roads and less snow.
