well, everywhere else on my bumper, where there are chips, its white, not black.

Mine too and it really looks bad on my car. Not really happy with the way my paint is holding up.

Oddly, my brand new bumper that I had painted last spring looks worse than my fenders and hood which have never been painted.... it even looks worse than my stock bumper which I ran for 2 and a half years. Plus I put only 10,000km on my car in the last year or so, and previously put 60,000 km on it.

Somebody is using cheap paint or something... *cough*

could it be that they used a flex additive instead of primer down there?....if i remember right flex additive is clear.........but i think you r right, something isn't right.

I'm not much of a bandwagon jumper, OK yes I am. I had my front lip painted by the same people in spring 2004 and it was totally chipped and marked up badly by mid-summer 2004 (only months later!!!). I then had it repainted by shop who specializes in body kits and aftermarket stuff and it hasnt even had a chip in it since. Coincidence.. perhaps... most likely not.

they did my trunk and my front bumper again and its been okay since but honestly i've only driven my car like 12 times since WOW
