  • Interior cleaning... what products?

What do you guys use to keep your interior bits in top shape?

Any suggestions for seat and/or doorpad cleaning (cloth)

It's not too bad at all, not worth renting something. I'm looking for a cleaner / conditioner for the dash as well.

I use a damp rag on the dash, Id steer clear of the armor-all stuff as Ive heard bad things about what it does over time in the sun

          armor-all = the devil

i use 303 aerospace on my stuff its rad.. just a lil bit not too much does the trick (only every 3 months) betweeen that just a damp microfibre towel does the trick

as for carpets/mats i vacuum my car weekly or twice a week if its bad.. i'm gonna buy a home steam cleaner i think tho to get all the friggin beach sand out

I like to keep things simple, and only use water, and a tiny bit of soap. Also, I use one of those air canisters to blow the dust out of hard to reach places.

On my dash I use VW interior protectant, which I think is Eagle-One. Its not bad.

On my leather surfaces I tried Meguiar's spray and their cream-based conditioner and I liked the cream better. The spray sucks.

ryan: where did you pick up the 303 from and for how much? do you use this stuff on the rest of dash/panels and everything? does it give a nice flat black finish?

if you use to much it kinda glosses for a day so i just used a small amount and it did the trick.. i got it from a partssource or partspalace or someshiz in crowfoot locally i always forget the name of the place..

100% caranuba wax. Trust me, you will be able to see yourself in your own dashboard! You can't put a price on that.

I don't use any 'products' on my dash. I just use a swiffer pad to dust it all the time. Works like a charm!

swiffer is good but you do want UV protection still.. 303 is rad for it.. but most others do the job too

I use a product from "Neo-Chem", I'm currently trying to get a bunch to resell (its that good!!), its not available in stores....The stuff I use is called Crystal (non glossy), smells great, and returnes everything to the "showroom" look, especially in the center console....They cover an entire line of products, very good stuff.....I've used the car wash agent, and "Brilliance" which works kinda like Meguiars Plastix, just in a spray can.....
