Re: Pics of autotech suspension installed

It is supposed to be lower than the 20th , the front of this car looks a little high to me. I am guessing it hasn't even driven around the block after the install so settling etc is out of the question.

Plus..it is a 2.0 i.e. very light in the front

Yup I'm thinking the rear shot is more accurate and the front will still drop 1/4 inch.

I will have a set in stock in a week and I have had a few enquiries so we should be able to see first hand pretty soon.

Re: Pics of autotech suspension installed

I think this may be something I might interested in the future (after the car is paid off). How much of the ride comfort would be sacrificed by having this suspension over stock?

A concern of mine is also that I wouldn't want to have too much drop as our TDI is a year round vehicle and you all know what it gets like here in Alberta.

Would it be best to go with a rear sway bar, front sway bar and some new 17's or 18's instead of doing the autotech suspension (or H&R etc..)

The only reason to put a front sway in our cars is if you are too low and it rubs on the driveshaft. And in that case you can just buy longer end-links.

Oh btw go 18's. 17s look pretty small.

Any serious inquiries about buying the one set? I am doing my taxes tonight, and depending on how much I get back for my return, I might have to do this.

Thanks for the info MR. Burns so there is not much need for a FSB for our MK4. Interested to see how someone likes the AutoTech ClubSport suspension as it seems pretty enticing! Yeah..18's will be sweet!

Well the tax return isn't as good as I thought it would be so I will not be purchasing a suspension this year. Oh well. Waiting for the MK V so I can do a trade in.
