I can only find some sideskirt questions... I am working with Emphase on this still.

Emphase eh? I was thinking of becomming a Emphase dealer about a eyar back but never got off ym @$$ I do like their stuff though.

As soon as I finish my turbo project, my next purchase will probaby be Emphase jetta sides and possibly a rear since I can't find a rear I like on the Jetta IV...

Unless I decide interior is more important of course.

Don't half-step and get the 55/40. And rake is hot (check the side-profile pics of my car in the members gallery). Although I was told that the reason for the rake is because the front wheel wells are actually bigger than the back. So really, the H&R kit just makes the car look "even" where as other kits may looked jacked on the front.

The FK kit has the same effect, it makes the car seem even rather than "jacked in the front".

Looks like I am too slow to respond to this one. Alex's ride is a 1.8T. For an accurate idea of how low your TDI will be, you could look at pics of my 34/40. I ended up about the same drop as Alex due to the heavier VR6. I'm pretty sure the TDI is about the same weight, so you could expect the same drop. FWIW, Bart has the 55/40 on his TDI, and it sits lower in the front than the rear.

I would imagine a TDI would be closer in weight to a 1.8t than a VR6 however I base that on nothing

Actually, the TDI and the VR6 are close in weight, both are heavier than the 1.8T by about 150lbs.

about 2" is good i'd love to be about 2.25 tho.. but with a kit and calgary its not really feasable.

I have to point out that a TDI sits about 1inch lower then any other VW engine to take that into account when you choice your height.

Good to point out that. The one inch will make you touch the oil pan first then the tranny. LOL. My Jetta will even hit a pop can that lay on the road.
